Work by Rachel Blakemore, founder of INtend,
during her time at Chase Oaks Church.

Creative work that connects people.
During my time at Chase Oaks Church, I developed creative concepts, scripted and produced promotional videos, conducted interviews, and created content for multiple social media platforms and audiences.
My work extended beyond day-to-day social media management to include video storytelling, campaign development, podcast branding, and digital communications. I often took projects from the initial idea through production, editing, and publication.
I also supported the Local Good Collective, creating community-focused content and providing social media guidance for Local Good Pantry, Local Good Center, Local Good Coffee, and Local Good Resale.
From concept to camera.
I developed original concepts, wrote scripts,
directed shoots, and produced promotional videos
for Chase Oaks Church. My work ranged from
fully planned productions to capturing spontaneous
moments, often taking projects from the initial
idea through filming and editing.

Stories worth hearing.
Some of the most meaningful content comes from
simply giving people the opportunity to tell
their stories. I conducted interviews for
Chase Oaks Church and the Local Good Collective,
capturing personal perspectives, experiences,
and conversations that brought a human element
to their digital content.
Book Release | Interviews
Rebranding Christianity
For the release of Pastor Jeff Jones’
book, Rebranding Christianity, I conducted
interviews exploring personal perspectives
on faith and Christianity.
These conversations provided opportunities
to engage audiences with the themes of the
book through real voices and experiences.
Interviewing | Content Production
Putting people at the center.
For the Local Good Collective, I interviewed
volunteers and community members to help
tell the personal stories behind its mission.
These conversations brought attention to the
people who give their time, receive support,
and contribute to the community.

Melissa’s Story

client and volunteer, sharing a personal
perspective on the community.
Podcast Branding & Visual Identity
Giving mindfull its own identity.
I led the rebrand of Chase Oaks Church’s
mindfull podcast, developing a
distinctive and flexible visual identity
for the show. Working with graphic designer
Alex Hughes, I created a brand system
built around the logo, typography,
color palette, and supporting
wave-inspired graphics.

promotional content, giving the series
a consistent, recognizable look while
allowing flexibility for different
guests and conversations.
The updated visual system brought
the podcast’s branding together

Local Good Collective
Good work deserves to be seen.
In addition to my work with Chase Oaks Church,
I supported the Local Good Collective,
helping communicate the people, programs,
and purpose behind its community initiatives.
My work included creating social content,
highlighting volunteer stories, and providing
practical guidance to help the teams
strengthen their digital presence.

One Collective. Four Initiatives.
Different missions. Shared purpose.
The Local Good Collective brings together
four initiatives serving the Dallas-Fort Worth
community: Local Good Pantry, Local Good
Center, Local Good Coffee, and Local Good
Resale.
Each initiative has its own audience,
services, and communication needs,
while remaining connected to the
Collective’s larger mission.
I worked with the teams to support
their social media efforts, develop
content, and help them communicate
their work more effectively.
Content & Creative Support
Putting people and stories first.
From highlighting the experiences of
volunteers to helping staff create their
own social media content, my goal was
to make the Collective’s work easier
to understand, connect with, and share.

Community Storytelling
Why we give.
Volunteer spotlights helped put faces
and personal stories behind the mission.
This feature highlights Ephraim, a Local
Good Pantry volunteer, sharing his
motivation for serving others and
giving back to his community.

Social Media Training & Support
Sharing what works.
I created and shared practical social media
tips with Local Good Collective teams to
help them improve their own content.
These resources covered everyday
techniques for creating more accessible,
engaging posts, including the importance
of captions on short-form video.
Supporting the Local Good Collective gave me
the opportunity to work across multiple
initiatives, combining content creation
with collaboration, training, and
community-focused storytelling.

Different projects. One approach.
Whether I was developing a campaign concept,
directing a video shoot, building a visual
identity, or helping a team tell its own
stories, my approach was the same:
understand the audience, find the right
message, and create something that connects.
That combination of strategy, creativity,
and hands-on production continues to shape
the work I do through INtend.
